Dental Mate runs on Google Cloud Platform with Firebase. Data is stored in secure, managed data centres with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Dental Mate is built for clinics that handle sensitive patient information every day. Here is how we protect your data.
Tenant isolation
Each clinic's data is logically separated. Staff can only access records for their assigned clinic. Role-based permissions control who sees patients, billing, settings, and the WhatsApp inbox.
Authentication & access
Clinic staff sign in with email and password via Firebase Authentication. Sessions expire on idle timeout. API routes verify identity tokens before any sensitive operation.
WhatsApp compliance
Outbound patient messages use Meta-approved WhatsApp Business templates. Inbound conversations follow the 24-hour customer care window policy. We integrate via Meta's official Cloud API — not unofficial bridges.
Patient data responsibilities
Clinics using Dental Mate act as data controllers for their patients. Timeground (Dental Mate) acts as a data processor on your behalf. You decide what data to collect; we provide the tools to store and manage it securely.
Backups & availability
Firebase provides automated backups and redundancy. We monitor application health and use structured error logging (optional Sentry integration) to catch issues early.
